Welding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at DIEFORM AUTOMATION. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual and automated welding equipment to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to prepare metal for welding.
- Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts and products.
- Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
- Flexibility, organized, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
Our fabrication department operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. As a Welding Specialist, you will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely production of metal parts and products.
What We Offer- Permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.
