Job Description

Job Title: Expert Innovation Specialist

Job Summary:

Puratos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our National Retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical service and expertise to our customer partners in National Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, state-of-the-art technical service and expertise to customer partners in National Retail.
  • Inspire customers with differentiating finished goods based on the latest global and local trends.
  • Maintain existing and grow new business at major National retail customers through high-end technical support and commercial contacts.
  • Actively look for customer needs and market trends and translate these into inspirational products.
  • Organize and/or give training sessions.
  • Participate and/or manage seminars and events in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
  • Troubleshoot at key retail customers' stores to support them in solving issues in their daily production in a timely manner.
  • Support industrial manufacturers on production lines to support triangular sales launches.
  • Troubleshoot on industrial lines to support our customers.
  • Help colleagues and customers build technical knowledge on Puratos products, technologies, and solutions.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies, machinery/equipment, trends, and techniques and share with other technical advisors.

Requirements:

  • Secondary training and/or education in Bakery/Patisserie/Chocolate.
  • Hands-on experience in the Bakery/Patisserie/Chocolate sector, within a retail environment.
  • Language skills: Excellent oral and written English, French is an asset.
  • Computer skills and ability to use professional tools (SAP CRM, O365, etc.).
  • Proven planning and organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Independent with a commercial approach.
