Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at CMC Mechanical Ltd. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation in various settings, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation required for the job
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
  • Estimate costs and materials for insulation projects
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in insulation installation and maintenance
  • Basic security clearance
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of settings, including construction sites, on-site customer service locations, and commercial and residential properties. We offer relocation costs covered by the employer and a willingness to relocate.
