About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Crew Haulers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify potential issues and perform testing to ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our drivers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Education: Completion of a truck and transport mechanic trade certification program or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Excellent mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
