Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to analyze tenders and recommend awards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and trade contractors to prepare and maintain directories of available resources.
  • Advise on tendering procedures and provide expert guidance on cost estimation.
Requirements:
  • Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 32 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
