Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Recruitment Room. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and review the work of staff accountants.
  • Maintain high-quality control by overseeing and reviewing compilation and review engagements.
  • Review and investigate discrepancies and irregularities in financial entries and reports.
  • Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Perform technical research and develop tax planning recommendations for individuals and corporations.
  • Assist with the execution of corporate reorganizations.
  • Oversee the organization and prioritization of work for staff accountants, including management of engagement costs and billings.
  • Mentor and support the professional development needs of staff accountants.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and relationships and accounts grow and develop.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • CA or CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years public practice experience dealing with accounting and taxation needs of private companies and their shareholders.
  • Comprehensive experience in compilation and review preparation.
  • Experience leading and supervising staff.

  • Proven ability in results management.
  • Strong ability to make sound judgment calls based on experience and critical thinking.
