Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Corporate Treasury Performance Management team at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be responsible for providing timely and comprehensive management reporting for Corporate Treasury, including planning & forecasting and decision support. This role will focus on Foreign Operations Subsidiaries, Advisory Channel (RISA and Broker GIC) & Securitization funding costs, and Stress Testing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Proactively provide expert analysis to Corporate Treasury VPs, Managing Directors and their teams through reporting and analytical insights, for both month-end reporting and forecast cycles, including Plan and 5-year outlook
  • Specifically responsible for Foreign Operations Subsidiaries results, Advisory Channel & Securitization funding costs, and Stress Testing
  • Work closely with Financial Control, Product Control and Hedge Accounting team to understand, analyze and report on Corporate Treasury monthly results
  • Manage overall Corporate Treasury NIAT estimate process, balancing deliverables for several stakeholders
  • Assist in streamlining current processes through identifying opportunities for time savings and reporting enhancements

Requirements

Must have:

  • CA/CMA/CGA or CFA or MBA/MFin
  • 2+ years' experience in a finance / reporting environment
  • Strong overall understanding of RBC and Corporate Treasury business activities
  • Strong Excel financial modelling skills and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of initiative and solution-based attitude

  • EPM financial reporting system
