Dishroom Assistant

We are offering a competitive salary of $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience, to ensure our team members feel valued and supported in their roles.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our dishroom team as a Dishroom Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom, ensuring that dishes, equipment, and supplies are properly sanitized and stored.

Your primary duties will include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment after each meal service
• Sorting and storing dishes, glassware, and other items in designated areas
• Restocking supplies and linens as needed
• Operating dishwashers and cleaning equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless meal service

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a similar role preferred
