Job Description

The Insurance Sales Specialist will play a critical role in converting leads into customers by evaluating their insurance needs and making recommendations on coverages. This individual will work closely with clients to provide continuous support from quote to sale, ensuring a seamless experience within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually engage with leads provided by Zensurance to convert requests for insurance into customers
  • Evaluate the needs of prospective clients to make recommendations on coverages
  • Provide continuous support from quote to sale to ensure a seamless client experience within set timelines
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our insurance products and educate clients on their policy coverages and needs
  • Recommend operational changes to our processes to support further improvement of the overall customer experience
  • Connect with external stakeholders, including underwriters and insurance companies
  • Work as part of the team to achieve shared goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A provincial insurance license, with an active RIBO license being an asset
  • 1-5 years of experience in an insurance sales role, preferably in commercial lines
  • The ability to communicate complicated concepts in simple terms
  • A passion for sales and customer experience
  • Persistence and agility to meet set targets
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time
