About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated interior designer to join our team at Ben and Britt at Home Inc. as an experienced interior designer for residential spaces.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering interior design solutions for residential clients, with a strong focus on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that reflect their needs and tastes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space
  • Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes
  • Supervise staff or team
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes, and materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in interior design, preferably in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interior decorator (residential) certificate
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SketchUp

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
