About Us

We are a leading consulting firm dedicated to providing expert solutions in the field of building science. Our team of professionals works closely with clients to identify and address complex issues related to building design, construction, and maintenance.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing building envelope systems for retrofit and new construction projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and conducting thorough reviews of existing building envelope systems and elements.

As a Building Sciences Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from small renovations to large-scale developments. You will also be responsible for completing written condition/evaluation reports, managing engineering design assignments, and collaborating with senior engineers on complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Designing building envelope systems for commercial, institutional, low-rise, and high-rise residential buildings
  • Coordinating with disciplines internally and externally with consultants/architects
  • Completing reviews of existing building envelope systems and elements
  • Completing written condition/evaluation reports
  • Managing engineering design assignments and projects of varying scope and complexity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Licensed as a professional engineer
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in building science
  • Professional experience working on building science restoration projects
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to provide leadership to junior engineers/technicians
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
