About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nuclear Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in leading and executing complex engineering assignments in the nuclear energy sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your expertise to provide technical guidance and review the work of team members
  • Ensure compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Develop new or adapted products, methods, systems, or models to provide added value solutions to customers
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements
The Details

This is a contract position based in Pickering, Ontario, requiring office presence. The client offers a competitive hourly pay and a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (4-year program) required
  • Professional Engineering License (P. Eng)
  • 10 + years of related CANDU experience
  • Eligible for Nuclear Site Access Security Clearance at Canadian & US-based utilities
  • Extensive experience in nuclear engineering, with proficiency in system engineering and design review processes
