Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Drive the EMCO truck in a safe manner, adhering to company policy and provincial regulations
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues to management
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
