Job Opportunity: Anesthetist (PRA-SP Applicants May Be Considered)

Job Summary:

Manitoba Health is seeking a highly skilled Anesthetist to join our team at the Thompson General Hospital in Thompson, Manitoba. As an Anesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Preferably have Royal College Certification
  • For Family Practice Anesthetists (FPA), possess a Certificate of Added Competency in Family Practice Anesthesia from a recognized University
  • Practice Ready Assessment Specialty (PRA-SP) eligible candidates who have secured provisional registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba may be considered (letter of eligibility will be required with application)
