Job Title: Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team at Teamrecruiter Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using C#,.NET, and Azure DevOps.

Job Summary:

The Application Developer will work on a variety of projects, including developing new applications, maintaining existing ones, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#,.NET, and Azure DevOps
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications
  • Collaborate with business units and program areas to ensure solutions meet current and strategic ministry needs and requirements
  • Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews
  • Participate in implementing full product into production and supports providing application versions and details for implementation plan
  • Highlight the technical impacts of the functional design on existing applications based on a detailed analysis
  • Maintain technical documentation and identify critical features of system and focus testing effort on them
Requirements:
  • University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4 year relevant experience
  • 2 year diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 6 year relevant experience
  • 1 year certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 7 year relevant experience
  • a currently active professional certification or accreditation and 8 year relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
  • 5 years of experience developing any of the following: multi-user, n-tier, Object Oriented, Web Services, JSON REST API applications using C#,.NET, ASP.net or Visual Studio
  • 5 years of experience developing or maintaining existing applications by using a standardized methodology (Agile Software Development, Waterfall, Joint Application Development, Rapid Application Development)
  • 5 years of experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • 5 years of experience in application maintenance and development that include: writing, modifying, integrating, testing, and documenting software code
  • 5 years of experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in a controlled production environment
  • 5 years of experience using Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps Server
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
Onsite Meetings:

In the event of an onsite meeting, the Government does not pay for travel to attend on-site meetings, nor any expenses related to relocation, commuting, housing/accommodation, food/drink.

Equipment Requirements:

You shall be responsible for providing all of the equipment, including computers, software, printers, supplies, desks and chairs.

Background Check:

Prior to commencement of the Services, criminal record checks will be required.

Mandatory Training Courses:

Once hired the resource will be required to complete all mandatory training which includes but not limited to Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Security awareness training.
