Job Summary

Ongoing opportunity for an experienced Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at OSG Renovation.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Flooring Installation Specialist to install flooring solutions in various locations. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install flooring solutions: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered; Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding; Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors; Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings; Prepare and install hardwood floors.
  • Maintain quality standards: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings; Prepare floors for installations; Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Specialize in installations: Perform direct glue-down carpet installations; Perform double-bond carpet installations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Excellent physical abilities, including handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, kneeling;
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and colour recognition;
  • Ability to distinguish between colours;
  • Good judgement and organized approach to work;
  • Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
