Overview:

Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc is seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable backend services that integrate with AI-driven analytics, real-time insights, and secure authentication mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python, Java, or Golang.
  2. Design and implement ETL pipelines to optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  3. Collaborate with the team to deploy and manage backend services using OpenShift, AWS, and Redis for caching.
  4. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, SSO, and JWT.
  5. Optimize API response times and ensure backend services scale efficiently.
  6. Collaborate with the team to implement monitoring and logging using Splunk and SignalFX.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python, Java, or Golang.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, FastAPI, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, SQL query optimization, and ETL pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
