About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Associate to join our team at Pizza Land and Donair. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bear in mind high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, always maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor.
  • Operate food preparation equipment such as conventional ovens, deep fryers, and electronic cash registers with ease and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory levels, receiving and storing supplies as required, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment regularly, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and management, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and a client-focused approach.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances as necessary.
  • Display a high level of physical fitness, able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs).
  • Show enthusiasm for learning and growing with the company, embracing opportunities for development and improvement.
