Job Description
Reporting to the Kingston/Belleville Plant Manager, this role oversees plant operations at Modular 4. Key responsibilities include ensuring top performance on safety, environment, and production. The role also involves hiring, developing, and managing all plant employees, while maintaining alignment with functional groups, including safety, environment, land, manufacturing, and supply chain.

The Superintendent will lead daily huddles, promoting a 'zero-harm' culture and ensuring compliance with local and regional health & safety policies. They will assist in preparing for and participating in periodic site audits and administer the Contractor Safety Management program.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and instill a site-level safety culture through consistent engagement with employees and contractors.
2. Directly responsible for individual development, motivation, and training of direct reports to maximize their performance.
3. Determine manpower requirements and shift scheduling to meet production demands.
4. Establish and manage weekly production and maintenance schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
5. Responsible for participating in short-term and long-term planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Accountabilities
1. Safety leadership and continued development of a strong safety culture.
2. Meeting annual financial and production targets.
3. Responsible for implementing the Health and Safety Improvement Plan.
4. Effective leadership and engagement of all personnel at the site.
5. Optimization of operational costs and achievement of annual objectives.
6. Developing and continually improving effective stakeholder/community relations.
7. Ensuring total site compliance with all safety and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies.
8. Providing detailed monthly operations forecasts and reviewing EBITs.
9. Implementing ROCK modules, Best Practices, and Manufacturing Basics.
10. Enhancing P2P efficiency and performance, and supporting capital planning efforts.
