Job Summary:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's environmental programs and activities are in compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental programs and activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and environmental regulators.
  • Contribute to the development of environmental policies and procedures.
  • Act as an environmental subject matter expert for projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Ensure all environmental reporting is performed, as required by regulatory bodies.

Working with Our Team:

You will work closely with our Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) team, as well as other functions such as Legal, Government Relations, Communications, Process Operations, Technical Services, and Product Supply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) with a Professional Engineer designation.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance.
