Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Applications Engineer to join our team and drive customer pursuits in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training of Turntide products at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers from small to global enterprises via email, telephone, remote desktop, or on-site.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training of Turntide products at customer locations.
  • Assist with motor characterization using dynos at our facilities in Waterloo, Canada, the UK, and on-site customer locations.
  • Generate and maintain Turntide documentation, such as FAQs, Application Notes, Visit Reports, Product, and User Manuals.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to understand customer technical needs and drive feedback into Turntide Product and Engineering groups.
  • Develop deep application expertise to proactively identify and resolve customer challenges before they arise.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

  • Battery storage solutions / Battery Management Systems.
  • Electric Machines (PMAC, Induction, SRM).
  • Thermo Systems (Pumps and Fans).
  • Onsite customer support.

The candidate must also be able to travel nationally and internationally, sometimes with limited notice.
