Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Waterloo Kia. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, electrical, and transmission problems
  • Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and functioning properly
  • Test and repair automotive systems and components, including brakes, suspension, and steering
  • Estimate repair costs and provide detailed explanations to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive service industry
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
