Pre-Board Screening Officer Role

At Paladin Airport Security Services, we're committed to providing a safe and secure travel experience for passengers. As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you'll play a critical role in upholding the safety of passengers and creating a positive travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently
  • Provide information professionally and with integrity
  • Confirm valid boarding passes
  • Scan/test baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology
  • Protect restricted areas
  • Uphold all regulations with vigilance
Requirements:
  • Be 18 or older
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
  • Be able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record
  • Have fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Be able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements
  • Have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year
  • Be available to work any shift as required by the airport operation
