The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power Engineering Student to join our team at the Wolf Lake facility. As a Power Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our steam generators and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain production rates to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Assist in daily rounds and routines associated with steam generators and other equipment
  • Learn and understand the layout, purpose, and operating parameters of your designated area
  • Assist operators in the preparation and maintenance of equipment
  • Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Power Engineering Technologist Program
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (including GDL) with a reasonably clean driver's abstract
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
