This permanent role in a fast-paced environment requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patrons' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Present menus and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of orders.
- Process payments efficiently, accepting various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and room billings.
- Upsell menu items, describe daily specials, and advise on menu selections to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Clean and maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Greet patrons warmly, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Relay orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring seamless execution of services.
- Assist clients with special needs, providing personalized support and attention.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and grooming standards.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position offering 35 hours of work per week, with opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and reliability skills, working well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
