Job Title: Mixer Driver

About the Job:
SRC Aggregates is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mixer Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating our mixer vehicles and delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections prior to driving to ensure safe operation.
- Receive and review work schedules via electronic devices or transport offices.
- Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure products are securely stored and protected from damage.
- Verify load correctness with batchers against customer orders.
- Ensure safe delivery execution and respect customer property; consult with transport managers or batchers if unsure.
- Check goods off with customers, obtain signatures, and address any errors or issues that arise.
- Handle customer complaints during delivery effectively, escalating concerns to ready mix managers or batchers as needed.
- Drive vehicles safely and within tachograph law limits, adhering to driver hours regulations.
- Maintain vehicle condition, completing routine maintenance tasks to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Comply with fuel directives from the transport department and report accidents in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the concrete industry.
- Possession of a valid Class 2 HGV licence and driver tachograph card.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness to perform various tasks as required.
