Job Title: Housekeeping Team Member

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Fairmont Royal York, a renowned luxury hotel in the heart of Toronto. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service excellence in our Gold Floor accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently deliver exceptional service to our guests, responding to their needs and preferences with a warm and welcoming smile.
  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of all public spaces, including cupboards, elevators, and stairwells, adhering to our hotel's rigorous standards.
  • Adhere to our grooming policy, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Utilize our Royal Service Mobile app to enhance the guest experience and streamline our operations.
  • Collaborate with our Room Attendants to maintain the cleanliness of all areas on the Gold Floor, including closets, corridors, lounge, and public spaces.
  • Restock glassware, linens, and supplies as needed, ensuring our guests have everything they need to feel at home.
  • Deliver and remove guest requests and preferences with a smile, exceeding their expectations at every turn.
  • Communicate openly with our Fairmont Gold colleagues to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our leaders, supporting the success of our team.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is essential, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Highly responsible and reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Must be able to work weekends, shift work, and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
