As a Part-time Warehouse Associate at Fastenal, you will play a vital role in our operations, handling the flow of products and managing inventory. This position is located at our branch in Delta, BC, and may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and meeting performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain branch inventory
  • Receive, pick, package, ship, and cycle count inventory
  • Make local deliveries with a company vehicle as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
  • Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting, or managing inventory
