Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Supervisor to join our team at Best in the West Commercial Cleaning. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring that all sites are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment, to maintain the quality of our services.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses and revenues, and preparing reports as required.
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs, ensuring timely and efficient transactions.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties, providing support and guidance as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve our goals.
  • Establish work schedules, balancing the needs of our clients and staff to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to improve our services.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including competitive pay, opportunities for professional development, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.
