Key Responsibilities:
  • Water and Tend to Plants: Care for plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they receive the necessary water and nutrients.
  • Apply Lawn Care Products: Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides to maintain the health and appearance of lawns.
  • Assess Lawn Health: Regularly inspect lawns to identify any issues or problems.
  • Direct Crews: Supervise and direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes.
  • Examine Trees and Shrubs: Diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs.
  • Plan and Coordinate Plant Growth: Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes.
  • Plant and Maintain Lawns and Gardens: Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable.
Work Conditions:
  • Attention to Detail: Required.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Expected.
