Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Brown Boys Customs. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and supervise their performance
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and stored
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in retail management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
