We're seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Winnipeg-based team as a Contract Administrator. The successful candidate will work on challenging and diverse tasks within an integrated team of design professionals by leading the contract administration and oversight phase of the project.

\

The role requires application of technical skills, project delivery focus, and leadership on behalf of the team during construction projects. We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and has excellent communication skills.

\

**Key Responsibilities**

  • \
  • Review and implement the form of construction contract chosen for the project\
  • Monitor the performance of the General Contractor in meeting or exceeding established standards for safety and quality\
  • Provide guidance to the contractor by interpreting the contract documents and issuing necessary documentation\
  • Coordinate the contractor's submittals, including shop drawings, and lead the analysis and interpretation of the contractor's Payment Application\
  • Process contract close-outs, including coordinating and leading the design team's review of O & M's, as-builts, deficiency walk-throughs and deficiency lists\
  • Communicate and make recommendations to the Project Manager, Client, and design team to resolve site issues\
  • Prepare documents and maintain file management of project-related information\

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

\

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a municipal, rural, or remote construction environment. A CCCA designation or related experience is also required.

\

Candidates should have excellent knowledge of local and provincial specifications, construction principles, techniques, and procedures, occupational hazards, and safety precautions.

\

A valid class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle are also required for this position.

\

Bonus Requirements:

We're also looking for someone who is willing and comfortable travelling to remote project sites, has demonstrated organizational, administrative, and decision-making skills, and can effectively handle changing priorities and project deadlines.
