\We're seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Winnipeg-based team as a Contract Administrator. The successful candidate will work on challenging and diverse tasks within an integrated team of design professionals by leading the contract administration and oversight phase of the project.
\The role requires application of technical skills, project delivery focus, and leadership on behalf of the team during construction projects. We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and has excellent communication skills.
\**Key Responsibilities**

- Review and implement the form of construction contract chosen for the project\
- Monitor the performance of the General Contractor in meeting or exceeding established standards for safety and quality\
- Provide guidance to the contractor by interpreting the contract documents and issuing necessary documentation\
- Coordinate the contractor's submittals, including shop drawings, and lead the analysis and interpretation of the contractor's Payment Application\
- Process contract close-outs, including coordinating and leading the design team's review of O & M's, as-builts, deficiency walk-throughs and deficiency lists\
- Communicate and make recommendations to the Project Manager, Client, and design team to resolve site issues\
- Prepare documents and maintain file management of project-related information\

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
\We're looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a municipal, rural, or remote construction environment. A CCCA designation or related experience is also required.
\Candidates should have excellent knowledge of local and provincial specifications, construction principles, techniques, and procedures, occupational hazards, and safety precautions.
\A valid class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle are also required for this position.
\Bonus Requirements:
\We're also looking for someone who is willing and comfortable travelling to remote project sites, has demonstrated organizational, administrative, and decision-making skills, and can effectively handle changing priorities and project deadlines.
