About this Role
As a Clinical Veterinarian at our Veterinary Services team in Laval, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your expertise will guarantee the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing optimal medical care, diagnosis, and treatments according to accepted veterinary practices;
- Offering professional guidance on procedures and techniques involving animals;
- Reviewing and optimizing animal monitoring and SOPs related to animal care;
- Participating in our animal ethic committee and lending your expertise to evaluate all procedures performed on animals before studies begin.
Key Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
- A Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine;
- A valid OMVQ license;
- Good observation skills;
- The ability to work physically (lifting up to 20 kg, walking, standing, stooping, etc.).
Role Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, based on experience. You will also receive:
