About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team at 1848952 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
    • Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment and identify any faults or issues.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting
    • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
    • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and analyze test results.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide on-site customer service and support for telecommunications equipment and networks.
    • Complete and maintain test and service reports for customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and repair.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
