Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing data solutions that enable strategic business goals and ensuring that all data solutions are aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing enterprise data architecture framework and developing robust data models and data architecture solutions that align with strategic business requirements.
  • Converting business requirements to logical data models and information data flows, and working with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into the data architecture framework.
  • Leading the design of migration to a modern data architecture, including data migration strategy and deliverables such as data migration plan, data mapping, and data validation.
  • Collaborating with system and solution architects to align enterprise system and data architecture to realize business goals.
  • Assessing and optimizing existing data models to improve performance, scalability, data integrity, security, accessibility, and interoperability.
  • Providing guidance and support to development teams in implementing and adhering to data modeling and data architecture principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Extensive experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for enterprise systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business requirements into effective data models and data architecture solutions.
  • Able to architect for serverless data platforms and develop AWS-based containerized data solutions.
  • Experience with data pipeline and API-based interfaces, preferably API management platform.
  • Knowledge of migrating from traditional to event-based data architectures and data virtualization techniques on cloud.
