Tax Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team at CAE. As a Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax returns and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax provisions, including tax returns and underlying forms.
- Prepare journal entries for book-to-tax adjustments, tax payments, and refunds.
- Participate in the consolidated tax provision, analyzing components impacting the tax expense and tax accounts.
- Support the team during tax audits, preparing analysis and audit summaries.
- Monitor tax filings, ensure tax assessments are analyzed and registered in the books.
- Stay up-to-date with applicable tax laws and regulations, monitoring changes affecting our entities.
- Perform research and analysis on various files, special projects, and uncertain tax positions.
- University Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in corporate taxation and tax accounting.
- Accounting designation, an asset.
- Master's degree in taxation or specialized taxation course from the CICA, an asset.
- Knowledge of Oracle and HFM, an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English).
