As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in achieving optimal returns by enhancing the value of our real estate assets, while aligning with our strategic plan.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading investment transactions, such as real estate acquisitions, provisions, and development, within the Quebec and Ontario markets. You'll be responsible for executing detailed financial analyses and negotiating with external investor partners and property managers.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading legal agreement negotiations with external investor partners and property managers
* Coordinating the preparation of documents for the Investment Committee and/or Board of Directors
* Working with property managers to ensure asset performance and approving recommendations for leasing offers, repositioning, or development projects
* Analyzing and revising annual operating and capital budgets, business plans, and action plans
* Managing and providing leadership in partner relations to uphold the group's interests and investment conventions
* Performing financial tracking for development, redevelopment, and major capital expenditure projects
* Revising market value appraisal reports and advising on their findings
* Contributing to the development and implementation of an investment strategy for the entire real estate portfolio
* Following real estate market indicators and macroeconomic forecasts to advise on their impact on the portfolio

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Urban and Real Estate Planning, or a relevant field
* Minimum of seven years of experience in asset transactions and management
* Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal colleagues and partners
* Excellent knowledge of Office Suite (especially Excel) and Argus software
* Designated Certified Appraiser (an asset)
* Knowledge of the institutional real estate sector (an asset)
