Fire Alarm Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team at Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd., a proud member of the ACAI. As an Edwards Authorized National Partner, we offer a comprehensive benefits program and a company leased vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems.
  • Ensure the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction.
  • Verify fire alarm systems and complete work orders in a timely fashion.
  • Be on-call for emergency service calls and work.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Troy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of or enrollment in CFAA Registration Courses, with a willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment.
  • Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training or work experience.
  • Previous training or experience in fire alarm systems is an asset.
  • Proficient in the use of computers.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills.
  • Must be available to work afternoons and nights on an ongoing basis.
