The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings. They will also be physically fit, with the ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.

The role will involve working on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and sanding
  • Mix and apply paints and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Measure and cut wallpaper and other fabric to fit walls
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and decorating
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Work Language: English
