We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Kamloops. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex accounting tasks.

About the Job

This full-time position involves performing various accounting duties, including day-to-day, month-end, and year-end reporting activities. Key responsibilities include investigation and implementation of Law Society of BC rules, supervision of the legal accounting department, general ledger maintenance, and designing user-level accounts using Acumin software.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Minimum 5 years post-designation experience in Canada
  • Experience in legal, accounting, or engineering offices is considered an asset
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
