Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team at Piramal Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership to senior production staff, directing daily functions, and ensuring all manufacturing operations meet cGMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to senior production staff through recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of manufacturing, including daily production meetings.
  • Develop and manage manufacturing schedules in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Monitor batches in progress to ensure schedule timelines are achieved.
  • Ensure all manufacturing operations meet cGMP requirements.
  • Accountable for all quality issues within manufacturing areas, including audits and investigations.
  • Coordinate and provide training as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Foster an emphasis on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for all manufacturing operations.
  • Attend batch meetings and provide input to new processes.
  • Revise and manage production-related Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in HAZOP analysis and equipment selection.
  • Provide technical assistance for operational issues and develop the manufacturing budget.
  • Participate in post-project reviews and champion lean initiatives.
  • Develop and report metrics for manufacturing (OEE, EHS, Quality).
