About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and support staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide guidance to staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality patient care
  • Manage the financial and operational performance of the pharmacy department, including budgeting and cost control
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications and control inventory levels to meet patient needs
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and professional manner
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and community outreach programs
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor's requests/issues
  • Identify and report sales opportunities and review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy department

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management skills and ability to motivate and coach others
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
