Job Overview

Vision Agro Products Ltd. is seeking a motivated and skilled Farm Worker to join our team in crop management.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, with group insurance benefits and the opportunity to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • This role involves applying horticultural techniques, including hoeing between rows, cleaning crops, fertilizing and spraying crops, harvesting crops, and operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
  • You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet/damp, dusty, and hot environments, as well as noisy workplaces.
  • The job requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Overtime may be required due to tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; however, you must be willing to learn and train for the role.
  • A fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and working under pressure are all aspects of this job.
  • As a team player, you will need to be organized and able to work effectively in a combination of indoor and outdoor settings.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The workplace is physically demanding, with a focus on manual labor and equipment operation.
  • Working in various weather conditions, including rain, sun, and extreme temperatures, is also a requirement.
  • Good physical health and the ability to withstand physically demanding tasks are essential for success in this role.
