Requirements:

  • Completed a recognized program for personal support worker
  • Current Basic Rescuer Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life support or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hiring
  • Member of the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA) and/or Personal Support Network of Ontario (PSNO) an asset
  • Previous patient care experience in a healthcare environment or health-related community work, preferred
