Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team at Aspire Bakeries. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baked products and packaging them in their respective containers.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high-speed continuous production lines, aligning products on moving conveyors to ensure smooth production.
- Identify and report any quality or safety concerns to supervisory staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and floor, adhering to Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and Health and Safety rules.
- Visually inspect products throughout the production process, removing waste products and placing them in designated bins.
- Adhere to GMPs and safe food handling practices, including personal hygiene and hand sanitation.
- Report any broken, damaged, or missing tools to your supervisor, who will ensure proper policies are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent, with basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy to meet production demands.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a diverse team environment.
- Good understanding and application of English oral and written communication skills.
