Job Title: Licensed 310T Mechanic

First Student Canada-Transco is seeking a skilled Licensed 310T Mechanic to join our team. As a Licensed 310T Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and perform accurate repairs on vehicle and equipment under minimal supervision.
  • Remove, overhaul, and reinstall mechanical components with minimal supervision.
  • Lead preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
  • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
  • Adhere to First Student standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Must have required Mechanic license.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must have appropriate mechanic's tool set.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced computer skills.
