About the Role:

GS Construction is seeking a skilled Sewage Pipeline Technician to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure construction team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining sewage pipelines and water mains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Utilize laser alignment systems to ensure accurate pipe placement.

Work Environment:

As a Sewage Pipeline Technician, you will work outdoors in a variety of locations, including sewers and water mains. You will be exposed to confined spaces, dusty conditions, and potentially hazardous situations.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
