We are seeking a well-rounded occupational therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Cornwall Physiotherapy.

About the Role:

As an occupational therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
* Educating clients on topics such as pacing, pain, cognitive behavioral strategies, and task modification strategies to help improve function
* Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychologists
* Participating in case conferences and case management
* Supporting return to work programs
* Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions, submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely manner

Requirements:

* Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
* Accepting New Graduates Licensed
* 1-5 years of experience required
* Previous experience treating clients with physical, mental health, and/or neurological conditions
* Ability to be autonomous, working both independently and as part of the team
* Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
* Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
* A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
