Job Title: Microsoft Power Platform Developer

The Microsoft Power Platform Developer plays a pivotal role in driving business innovation at Sotera Health by designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:Development:
  • Design and build custom applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform to enhance business processes.
  • Develop and deploy Microsoft SharePoint Online sites, ensuring seamless integration with Power Platform solutions.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure high-quality solutions.
Process Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional experts to identify and improve business processes.
  • Manage internal customer relationships, capturing and analyzing customer needs, and communicating proposed solutions and project status.
Design:
  • Lead the design of high-quality solutions that meet business needs, incorporating security, user roles, and audit logs as required.
  • Propose Power Platform environments and SharePoint Online site topology using best practices.
Deployment:
  • Deploy solutions using Microsoft deployment best practices, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
  • Work closely with business groups to support their ability to self-manage SharePoint Online sites.
Support:
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint and Power Platform issues.
  • Resolve user tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.
Qualifications:
  • Software development experience with SharePoint Online.
  • Designing and delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Expertise in migrating legacy on-premise SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online using Sharegate or equivalent migration utility.
  • Experience with SharePoint workflows, including custom workflows using SharePoint Designer.
Skills and Competencies:
  • 10 years of experience administering, managing, and deploying business applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Online configuration and administration.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate development.
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint Online development.
