Location: North York

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our client's SME team in North York. As a key member of the legal department, you will be responsible for building out the legal team and assisting with all legal matters related to the company's portfolio, including family office, real estate holdings, manufacturing, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the development of the legal team, ensuring effective support to business operations
  2. Provide strategic counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters
  3. Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to drive business growth and expansion

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate law, with a strong background in M&A, real estate, and manufacturing
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing legal teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders

Compensation:

We offer a highly competitive salary of $250,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses.
